As a driver, Mike brings to the team almost 30 years experience operating equipment. Everything from snow plow, back hoe, excavators and ALL equipment used in logging operations including truck. From log to dump, off road to over-the-road, Mike’s experience makes him a natural behind the wheel of a Big Rig Race truck.

Mike was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ ’02 and has proven himself racing along side of the most experienced Big Rig Racers. For the ’03 season, Mike has 5 first and 10 second place finishes between the heats and the mains and consistently finishes in the top five in each race ran.

Kevin brings to the team a combination of his 13 years of driving truck combined with 8 years of enduro motorcycle racing (during the ‘80’s). This qualifies him as the obvious choice to drive the team’s third race truck.

Kevin has not yet completed a full season but brings his professional demeanor to the race truck making him a cool, level headed driver that relies on consistency allowing him to consistently finish in the top seven and he has 4 second place finishes and 5 third place. Kevin will be nominated as ‘Rookie of the Year’ for the ’04 season. Kevin originally joined the TEAM USA-1 as team photographer.

Driver, Jeff Swanstrom brings to the team 13 years of racing experience ranging from oval track and drag racing back yard built race cars to serving as crew member on Nick Behn’s stock car race team, racing in the Sportsman Class.

Jeff has been a crew member from day one, allowing him limited opportunity to drive the first TEAM USA-1 truck, from there it was a natural progression from cars to the Big Rigs.

Jeff was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ ’03 and has 2 firsts and 1 second place and consistently finishes in the top six.
